Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

$2399.04/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized labor and delivery nursing care in a teaching hospital setting, ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns during high-risk antepartum and labor stages. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient education and clinical needs. Responsibilities: Administer direct patient care in high-risk antepartum and labor and delivery units. Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, and respond to emergencies promptly. Educate patients and families about labor, postpartum care, and newborn care. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress. Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies. Qualifications: Possess at least 2 years of labor and delivery RN experience, with high-risk antepartum expertise. Hold valid California RN license; active at time of submission. Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications. Demonstrate experience in teaching hospital environments. Have reliable references from within the past year, preferably supervisor-level. Be willing to work day shifts, including every other weekend and rotating through various roles in the L&D specialty.
