Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and knowledgeable Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to join our dynamic imaging team. You will leverage advanced ultrasound technology to perform a range of diagnostic procedures, all while working collaboratively with a compassionate team of healthcare providers to deliver precise and timely imaging services that bring comfort to patients.

Description of Responsibilities

• Execute a variety of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining processes to ensure understanding and ease
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to guarantee the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring any malfunctions are reported promptly
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records using the electronic medical systems
• Continuously update your knowledge on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current ARDMS certification or equivalent is a must
• BLS certification is a preferred asset
