Senior Integration Engineering Technician - 1st Shift

Our client is looking for a Senior Engineering Technician to join an innovative defense technology company focused on transforming energy solutions for remote and tactical operations. This hands‑on role involves designing, fabricating, and integrating prototype mechanical hardware for field‑deployable systems that provide resilient power, lift, and potable water without relying on fragile fuel logistics. Role Responsibilities As a Senior Integration Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for building, assembling, and testing ruggedized hardware and systems that support ground‑breaking defense projects. Your expertise in machining, welding, sheet metal work, and mechanical assembly will be essential in turning engineering concepts into real, field‑ready products. You’ll also support field testing, travel to deployment sites, troubleshoot integration challenges, and document your work for future improvements—all in a dynamic environment that values ownership and rapid execution. Required Skills, Education, and Experience 3+ years (preferably 10+) of hands‑on mechanical fabrication or prototype integration experience. Abilities in machining, welding, mechanical assembly, reading drawings, and producing detailed build documentation. Experience working with rugged hardware, power and fluid systems, and supporting field testing in remote or demanding environments. Willingness and ability to travel for field deployments and testing.
