Quality Manager

We are seeking a Quality Manager for a manufacturing company in Fitchburg MA. This role will lead quality operations for a company specializing in custom-engineered electromechanical products.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 AS9100 customer requirements and applicable regulations.
• Lead mentor and manage the Quality and Inspection Team to meet quality objectives and operational goals.
• Develop and implement Process Control Plans PFMEAs and quality improvement initiatives.
• Manage internal and supplier corrective actions (CARs/SCARs) nonconformances root cause investigations and failure analysis.
• Oversee incoming inspections first article inspections and preparation of PPAP documentation.
• Manage equipment calibration programs and maintain accurate inspection and quality records.
• Review engineering drawings specifications and documentation for new products and orders.
• Collaborate with engineering manufacturing customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Analyze quality data identify trends and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and other quality methodologies.
• Coordinate quality-related engineering projects and ensure customer requirements and deadlines are met.
