What You Will Be Doing

Handle a variety of bankruptcy and restructuring matters involving creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders.
Represent clients in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings.
Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Prepare and review transactional documents related to bankruptcy and restructuring.
Conduct detailed legal research and analyze complex legal and financial issues.
Assist partners with case strategy, negotiations, and resolution of bankruptcy matters.
Make regular appearances in bankruptcy court and participate in hearings.
Communicate directly with clients regarding case status, strategy, and legal issues.
Manage case deadlines, filings, and multiple matters simultaneously.
Collaborate with partners and attorneys across different practice groups.
Participate in business development initiatives as needed.

Experience You Will Need

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania or eligibility for prompt admission.
Prior experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, or commercial litigation strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of bankruptcy law and restructuring principles.
Experience drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and bankruptcy-related transactional documents.
Strong legal research and analytical skills.
Ability to analyze financial information, complex legal issues, and case strategy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to identify, assess, and resolve complex legal issues.
Comfortable with court appearances and courtroom advocacy.
Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail, professional judgment, ethics, and client-service orientation.
Must be comfortable working full-time, on-site in Philadelphia, PA.
