Contact Center Technical Leader

We are looking for an experienced 8x8 / Contact Center Technical Leader to lead and support contact center technology initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with 8x8 or other enterprise telephony/contact center platforms, along with the ability to provide technical leadership across contact center environments. Candidates with leadership experience and expertise in platforms such as Genesys, Cisco, Avaya, NICE, Five9, or similar telephony/contact center technologies may also be considered.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design, implementation, configuration, and support of contact center and telephony solutions.
• Providing technical leadership for 8x8 and/or other enterprise contact center platforms.
• Managing contact center architecture, integrations, call flows, routing, IVR, and related configurations.
• Troubleshooting complex telephony, voice, and contact center issues.
• Working with business and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Leading platform migrations, upgrades, implementations, and optimization initiatives.
• Supporting integrations with CRM and other enterprise applications.
• Providing technical guidance to team members and coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.
• Monitoring platform performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Documenting technical solutions, configurations, processes, and best practices.

Required qualifications include:

• Strong experience with 8x8 or comparable enterprise telephony/contact center platforms.
• Strong understanding of contact center technology, voice, telephony, call routing, IVR, and integrations.
• Experience leading technical teams or contact center technology initiatives.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with enterprise CRM/contact center integrations.
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Willingness to work onsite in Houston, TX.
