Our unique just-in-time model, combined with our integration of plate rolling, processing, and heat treating, allows us to provide a complete supply chain solution to customers across North America. We are hiring a Materials Handler to assist in our rapid growth. This position will load and process orders for shipment to our customers as well as receive, process, and deliver incoming orders. The position offers room for growth in the logistics field with gained experience and responsibility. General Responsibilities Operate ground controlled overhead cranes to lift, move and position steel. Loads outgoing shipments onto trucks. May be required to use forklift or other material handling equipment. Perform staging and inspection of materials before shipping. Verify orders for completeness and possible damage. Log shipments, completes and forwards paperwork in a timely manner, as assigned. Accepts incoming shipments upon arrival and transfer to appropriate department or location.
