Computed Tomography Technologist

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images used in diagnosing medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy to support clinical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to acquire high-quality images.
• Assess, plan, and execute imaging procedures for patients across all age groups.
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images accurately for radiologist review.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment routinely to ensure optimal performance.
• Keep detailed records of procedures, images, and patient data in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or relevant field.
• Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and CT (R.T. (R)(CT)) or R.T. (R) (ARRT).
• Possess an ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider.
• Hold valid fluoroscopy and venipuncture licenses if required by the state of employment.
• Have at least two years of recent professional experience in imaging.
