Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, encompassing detailed physical examinations and reviews of past medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical concerns through analysis of imaging data and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for each patient
• Provide crucial support during surgeries, which includes prepping operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments on cue
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound treatment, discharge strategies, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree earned from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgical practice highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
