The Security Dispatcher plays a crucial role within a dedicated Security Operations Center, working in close integration with the General Facilities Team. This position requires managing communication and coordination of security personnel to ensure the safety and security of the premises. The Security Dispatcher reports directly to the Security Manager and operates on a 24/7 rotating shift schedule, employing proprietary dispatch software alongside multiple communication tools and mobile app coordination to effectively respond to incidents and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch security personnel efficiently using proprietary software and mobile coordination tools
• Log and document incidents accurately for prompt response and record-keeping
• Coordinate communication between security teams and other facility staff
• Respond promptly to emergencies and facilitate appropriate security measures
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and operational activities
• Assist with surveillance monitoring to support ongoing security operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in security operations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in emergency communication and radio operations
• Experience with incident reporting and surveillance monitoring
• Skilled in crisis management with strong attention to detail
• Effective problem-solving abilities and team communication skills
