Georgetown, DE Pay From: $50.00/ per hour MUST:

• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state Delaware and Maryland
• Current national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner through an appropriate recognized certifying organization.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Eligible to apply for hospital and dialysis unit staff privileges
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records.
• Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays / Ability to travel between all assigned practice locations

DUTIES:

• Deliver nephrology care across outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, and chronic dialysis units.
• Round on ESRD patients receiving hemodialysis at local dialysis units.
• Manage outpatient patients with CKD stages 15.
• Provide dialysis education and treatment preparation.
• Manage anemia and other CKD-related complications.
• Review lab results and diagnostic testing.
• Handle prescription refills and remote patient monitoring.
• Assist physicians with inpatient rounding as needed.
