Construction Project Manager (Commercial / Public Sector)

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple projects from pre-construction through completion. The ideal candidate has strong NYC experience and a proven track record managing public sector projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage projects from planning through closeout
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals
• Ensure compliance with NYC codes, permits, inspections, and public agency requirements
• Lead project meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and agency representatives
• Track change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Monitor job costs and ensure profitability
Qualifications:
• 5+ years experience as a Construction Project Manager (NYC required)
• Proven experience managing public sector projects (NYC agencies, SCA, DDC, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of commercial and/or institutional construction
• Experience with multi-trade coordination (MEP knowledge strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with public bidding, compliance, and reporting requirements
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, etc.)
• OSHA certification required/preferred
