Galaxy ABA Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. Job Summary As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings, implementing skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use play-based, child-led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging, while collecting data on client progress and completing session documentation. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality ABA therapy services to our clients. Responsibilities Work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings Implement skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a BCBA Use play-based, child-led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging Collect data on client progress and complete session documentation Collaborate with supervisors, parents, and team members Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment What We’re Looking For High school diploma (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred) Completion of 40-hour RBT training (or willingness to complete before starting, provided by Galaxy ABA) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 40 lbs, and ensure client safety Ability to pass background checks (FBI, CPS, State of VA) and provide CPR, HIPAA, and TB clearance (support provided) Prior ABA, childcare, or behavioral health experience is a plus—but training is provided for the right candidate What We Offer Competitive hourly rate: $24 - $28 HOURLY Opportunities for advancement Paid training Flexible weekday schedules, with some weekend options Travel within the Raleigh, NC area required (up to 25%) A supportive team environment with training and mentorship Opportunities to grow into a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and beyond If you are a compassionate, motivated, and eager professional looking to make a lasting impact, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.
