Job Summary The primary purpose of this position is to provide high-quality education while fostering student engagement, leveraging expertise to teach, facilitate discussions, and assess student performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Teach courses in alignment with the university's mission and learning objectives Develop and implement effective instructional strategies that promote student engagement Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance Utilize the university's learning management system (Moodle) for course management Maintain professionalism and adhere to university policies Communicate effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect, and service Serve as a Christian role model to students, both inside and outside the classroom Demonstrate experience working cross culturally with respect, appreciation and humility Other duties as assigned and appropriate to the subject area and program needs Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Professional experience in the field related to the subject being taught Familiarity with online and hybrid teaching modalities Engagement in scholarship, research, or professional development Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education and Experience Master’s Degree or significant professional experience in the relevant field (a Doctoral Degree may be required for certain disciplines) Demonstrated expertise in subject matter and commitment to student learning Previous teaching experience in higher education, or the capacity to teach in higher education Working Conditions / Physical Demands Supervision will be provided by the Program Chair/Director Teaching may occur in-person, online, or hybrid format depending on departmental needs #J-18808-Ljbffr Malone University
