The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, team player with great people and collaboration skills, who promotes a team atmosphere, applies root cause analysis principles, and supports process improvements in our fast paced always growing culture.What You'll Be Responsible For:Advanced troubleshooting of mechanical systems and sub-systemsAdvanced electrical troubleshooting of equipmentPerform preventative maintenance tasksOwnership of a functional process areaSome mentoring and training of less experienced maintenance staffFollow all safety and food safety requirements, PPE, LOTO, while culturing a safe work environmentProvide feedback to Planner on preventative maintenance tasks and schedulesPerform daily facility walkthroughs and inspectionsUtilize CMMS to open/close workorders, schedule PM's, create workorders, etc., to meet workflow and compliance KPI'sOn call availability for off hour critical failuresDevelop and maintain good working relationships with everyone in the organizationMaintain tools, supplies, and clean organized work areasOperate powered industrial equipment: scissor lifts, forklifts, powered stackers, etc.What You Bring:4+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferredProficiency with electrical: reading schematics, utilizing volt/ohm meter, etc. (120, 240, 480VAC, 24VDC)Some HVAC/Hydronic experience preferredAbility to understand and troubleshoot control components, inputs/outputs, PLC's, HMI's, pumps, motors, plumbing, heat exchangers, photoeyes, servo drives, proximity sensors, VFD's, flow control, timers, etc.Safe operation of warehouse equipment such as scissor and fork liftsPersonal Protective Equipment, LOTO, confined space, arc flash, and safety complianceAbility to regularly lift, bend, stretch, crawl, utilize manual dexterity, navigate ladders/catwalks, stand and/or walk for long periods of time without limitationLift 75lbs unassistedFollow all company policies, procedures, safety, and food safety guidelinesFlexible working hours, willing to work scheduled, unscheduled, and on call overtimeWork in non-climate and cold environments, that may be noisy and/or have low lightingSpecialized knowledge, skills and abilities:Deep knowledge of some mechanical and/or electrical systemsStrong problem-solving skillsProficiency with electrical: reading schematics, utilizing volt/ohm meter, etc. (120, 240, 480VAC, 24VDC)Some HVAC/Hydronic experience preferred (certifications a plus)Welding preferred: mig, tig, stick, aluminum, stainless steelWater & filtration systems, pumps, plumbing, etc.Preventative and Predictive maintenance to maximize uptimeWorking at 80 Acres Farms, we believe taking care of our people is just as important as taking care of our plants.
