You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management and communicate with accuracy, quality and timeliness.Essential Job FunctionsTake and record vital signs and EKGRoom patientsPrepare patients for examinationObtain and update patient medicationAdminister InjectionsAuthorizing prescription refills as directed by physiciansAssist In Vasectomy, Cystoscopy and Biopsy Procedures.Cleaning and Sterilizing Surgical Instruments.Clinical Supply inventoryCollect Urine/Blood SpecimensSurgical SchedulingPrior Authorizations for medications and radiologyRefills, Lab Orders, Lab resultsPAT's in ProgressUtilize EMR System, Microsoft Teams, Excel and Additional Hospital EMRsCustomer Service (greet patients and engage with providers/staff/vendors)Check In/ Check OutClerical dutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
