Industrial Lubrication Technician

Industrial Lubrication Technician Shift: 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM EST). Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required. Responsibilities: Respond to work orders, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on building and facilities equipment, fixtures, and systems. Inspect and service moving parts including sprockets, chains, bearings, gear boxes, and other mechanisms in an industrial production setting. Lubricate, clean, change filters, and perform minor repairs to equipment. Operate a PC with Microsoft Office Suite and use CMMS for preventive and predictive maintenance scheduling. Identify and assist in troubleshooting wrong or degraded lubricants, contaminated lubricant conditions, and abnormal machine wear. Document service and feedback to customers, ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and industry standards. Recommend measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance. Operate a forklift, hand tools, laptop computers, and diagnostic hardware safely. Maintain a strict schedule while demonstrating flexibility in day‑to‑day activities and scheduling for the benefit of the customer. Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor. Qualifications & Requirements: High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent. U.S. Citizenship required. Must pass a pre‑employment substance abuse test. May require a valid Driver’s License and the ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Ability to drive a forklift safely. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, and move repeatedly during a shift. Adherence to lockout/tagout, PPE usage, and other safety procedures. Physical Requirements: Regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Climb extension ladders, roof ladders, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift. Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and perform repetitive movements. Move in a 90‑degree fashion repeatedly. Stretch/reach frequently. Walk extensively throughout the plant during shift. Use a utility knife approved by the company or client. Differentiates colors based on wire color‑coding. Repetitive wrist movement as needed. Compensation: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour (actual compensation may vary based on factors such as responsibilities, experience, and market data).
