Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join a high-volume hospital laboratory team. The role involves performing a wide range of diagnostic testing to support patient care across multiple specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing in Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank, Microbiology, and more
• Conduct complex analysis of biological and chemical specimens
• Ensure accuracy through quality control and compliance procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve instrument or testing issues
• Assist with specimen processing and phlebotomy support when needed
• Train new staff and support lab operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field
• Florida State Medical Technologist License (Generalist required)
• ASCP Certification preferred
• Minimum lab experience preferred; strong clinical foundation acceptable
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
• Shift Differentials: $2 (Evenings), $3 (Nights)
