We work together to strengthen the care in our communities while providing patients access to a broad network of specialists and advanced services.This position supports patients and providers across Trinity Health Medical Group practices located throughout the greater Grand Rapids area and along the Lakeshore.Position Summary:The Pharmacy Technician will primarily support a centralized Prior Authorization Clinic serving Trinity Health Medical Group practices throughout West Michigan. Responsibilities include resolving and appealing prior authorization requests and supporting medication access for patients. The technician may also provide support to other ambulatory pharmacy clinics as needed.What the Pharmacy Technician Will Need:High school diploma or equivalent required.Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training program preferred.Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the State of Michigan (LPhT) and nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), or eligible to obtain national certification within six months of hire with prior pharmacy technician experience.Minimum of one year of pharmacy work experience required; experience in multiple healthcare settings preferred.Previous experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams preferred.Our CommitmentRooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
