Room Registered Nurse

for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in

Boston, MA. This role is ideal for an OR nurse who thrives in a fast‑paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering safe, high‑quality perioperative care.

Job Function:

Shift: 40 hrs/ 4x10 Rotating

Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR.

Prepare the

operating

room for procedures and

assist

with room turnover.

Assist

with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure.

Handle and label specimens according to policy.

Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection‑control standards.

Identify

and

initiate

corrective actions when necessary.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient workflow.

Job Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or

Bachelors Degree in Nursing

(BSN).

2 full

years of acute care experience in this

specialty.

BLS certifications

from the American Heart Association.

Active professional license required

Previous acute care or specialty experience preferred

Ability to work rotating day/night and weekend schedules

Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills required

Travelers must be flexible with scheduling and unit needs
