Class B Driver

Position Overview Reddy Ice is looking for a full‑time Delivery Driver with a CDL Class B license. The driver will operate articulated trucks to deliver and rotate ice at customer locations across the region. Duties & Responsibilities Operate and maintain a clean company truck, comply with DOT regulations and hours of service. Unload, deliver, rotate and document ice at customer sites, producing invoices and paperwork. Conduct pre/post trip inspections and report all accidents or injuries. Participate in daily Daily Visual Management (DVM) and lean improvement activities. Handle equipment such as handhelds, printers, handcarts, and handtrucks. Pick up equipment as directed and perform other operational duties assigned by management. Performance Metrics Deliver 10–16 pallets per day (2,100 bags of ice per day, 10,500 per week). Deliver 21,000 pounds of ice per day and 105,000 pounds per week (10.5 tons daily, 52.5 tons weekly). Requirements Valid ClassB CDL with a clean driving record. High School diploma or GED; three years route‑delivery experience preferred. At least one year experience driving a vehicle similar to the one assigned. Basic math and customer‑relations skills. Ability to lift 40lb and work in all weather conditions. Strong focus on safety, honesty, and continuous improvement using lean tools. Working Conditions & Physical Demands Drivers will operate in stressful environments, lift products, and work in all weather. Must stay alert, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain a professional attitude. Other Responsibilities Responsible for company property, funds, and information.
