Responsibilities Represent the company to patients who come in, both for routine health care and life-defining health decisions. Draw high-quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory testing, following standard procedures. Maintain direct patient contact, creating a trustful environment while explaining procedures and drawing blood safely and accurately. Demonstrate Leadership Behaviors and focus on process excellence, maintaining patient confidentiality and data accuracy. Perform tasks assigned by the area supervisor, completing daily activities accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional work environment. Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties with confidence, following established practices. Verify patient demographic information, initials, and signatures after venipuncture to ensure correct labeling. Maintain required records and documentation. Promote a positive image of the organization to patients, clients, employees, and the public. Be adaptable to assignments in doctor's offices, patient service centers, or other locations as business needs dictate. Job Requirements Provide quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment. Work independently with minimal on‑site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric procedures. Make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment. Have reliable transportation, a valid driver license, and a clean driving record if applicable. Travel and work flexible hours to cover multiple locations, including patient service center and in‑office phlebotomy sites with minimal notice. Handle multiple priorities in a high‑volume setting. Demonstrate superior customer focus, open communication with peers and supervisors, willingness to embrace change, and knowledge of the business. Training location may vary based on trainer availability. High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED). Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington). 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience (REQUIRED), including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. At least 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service experience in retail or service environment strongly preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience. Shift/Time Zone: Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–4:00 PM; Saturday 7:00 AM–12:00 PM.
