Creative Producer

In this role, you'll create best-in-class design solutions—from display and video ads to responsive web experiences that are smart, current, relevant, and purposeful. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Collaborate closely with internal teams including sales, marketing, Scripps creative and project management teams, as well as our national and/or local businesses. Develop and produce new design solutions and concepts to meet key business and user goals. Help to provide design support and solutions that meet the needs of internal client teams. Work closely with local and national businesses including creatives, marketers and business owners. Utilize any user feedback (qualitative/quantitative) to provide insights and suggestions to optimize existing designs and inform new ones. Help manage brand standards, updating guidelines and being a watchdog for brand inconsistencies. Pitch in to help support other creative needs when asked, including; brainstorming, branding, digital comps, studies and more. Establish best practice for local small business video creative. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience Generally, 1-3 + years of experience in related field preferred WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, Dreamweaver, HTML5, CSS and responsive digital design tools a plus Excellent usability instincts and sense of design Experience designing dynamic display and video creative preferred Design experience with both static and animated display advertising Ability to produce high-quality work quickly, iterating towards the best solutions Exposure to interactive design (mobile, table, desktop) as well as architecture fundamentals and best practices for web and mobile Self-motivated, passionate person with a desire to learn and grow Ability to adapt and balance multiple projects in a fast paced environment Strong ability to develop creative concepts and solve problems effectively at scale Excellent attention to detail Effective presentation ability with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Must have strong organizational skills Independent thinker, with strong work ethic Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams SCRIPPS’ COMMITMENT TO A CULTURE THAT CREATES CONNECTION: At Scripps, we are committed to a culture that reflects the audiences and communities we serve.We are intentional about creating anenvironmentwhereemployees, our audiences and other stakeholders feel valued and inspiredto reach their full potential and create connections.
