Pay Range: $25 to $30 an hour for Level I and $30 to $35 an hour for level II.

Client Industry: Pharmaceutical

Job Mode: Onsite

Contract Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of Extension based on business needs and performance)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Biologist I / Biologist II to support biologics research and development in a collaborative laboratory environment. This role focuses on protein expression, purification, characterization, and sample management to support ongoing discovery programs. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with protein purification techniques and analytical methods along with strong organizational and communication skills. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative biologics research while working with cross functional scientific teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform protein expression, purification, and remediation of antibodies and related biologic molecules.
• Characterize proteins using analytical techniques including SEC, LCMS, DSF, SDSPAGE, and endotoxin testing.
• Operate AKTA purification systems and support chromatography based purification workflows.
• Coordinate sample preparation, aliquoting, and material delivery for research activities.
• Utilize laboratory automation platforms to improve biologics workflows when applicable.
• Maintain accurate experimental records using electronic laboratory notebook systems.
• Communicate experimental results and collaborate with cross functional teams to support project goals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• 1+ years of relevant experience for Level I or 3+ years of relevant experience for Level II.
• Hands on experience with protein expression, purification, and characterization.
• Knowledge of analytical techniques including SEC, LCMS, DSF, SDSPAGE, and endotoxin testing.
• Experience using AKTA purification systems.
• Experience with sequence analysis software such as Vector NTI, Geneious, or Genedata.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multispecific biologics.
• Experience with chromatography methods including SEC, HIC, and IEX.
• Experience with laboratory automation platforms such as Hamilton, Tecan, AssayMap, or Kingfisher.
• Experience with antibody engineering, design, or optimization.
• Experience working in a large enterprise environment.
