Salary Range: $106,604.71 - $170,567.54. Hourly Range: $48.33 - $79.75. Department/Unit: Anesthesiology Hospital. Work Shift: Per Diem (United States of America). Duties Accept on‑call duty from home or immediate area using area‑wide pager. Must be able to reach the hospital within a reasonable amount of time in order to provide care during times other than regularly scheduled workday. Assist in maintaining a constant update of administrative procedures, perfusion library and scientific paper library. Conduct product evaluations to remain current with product changes and product usage. Assist in maintaining accurate bypass records and preparing annual reports. Attend lectures, conferences, departmental meetings, and have regular meetings with the Chairman, Dept. of Anesthesiology, and the Dept. of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Attend regional, national and international conferences related to perfusion. Relate information to other perfusionists and others as applicable. Lecture on request to interested groups. Orient new perfusionists and instruct nurses, medical students, and others in extracorporeal circulation techniques. Qualifications Certified by American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.
