Salary: $68,000 - 108,000 per year Requirements:
- 6+ years of mobile development experience, including 5+ years of Android development
- 4+ years of experience with REST APIs and API authentication
- Experience with MVVM design patterns and tools including Android Studio, Gradle, Git, Postman, Firebase, and Google services
- Working knowledge of API security protocols, including OAuth
- Strong design and programming skills using Android layouts and Jetpack Compose
- Experience with Android technologies and libraries such as Retrofit, GSON, RxJava, and Kotlin coroutines
- Knowledge of databases, rules, and CRUD operations
- Strong Agile/Scrum experience
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across distributed teams, including excellent written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with Agile, Android, Git, RESTful APIs, and mobile software engineering
- Build Android applications by implementing UI/UX designs from wireframes and mockups
- Ensure applications perform responsively across devices and screen sizes
- Debug and resolve performance, crash, and user experience issues
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Communicate technical challenges and solutions to the team
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development
- Apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities

We are seeking an Android Developer for a contract-to-hire role in Dallas, Pittsburgh, Strongsville, Cleveland, or Phoenix. This is a W2-only position. You will serve as a technical expert on a large-scale digital development project with onshore and offshore developers, collaborating with Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts, Scrum Masters, and Technical Managers.
