Principal Product Manager, AI Platform

Role Description

As a Principal Product Manager, AI Platform, you'll define the vision, strategy, and execution of an enterprise AI platform while partnering closely with engineering, AI, data, compliance, and executive leadership teams to build scalable AI infrastructure powering the company's future.

What You'll Do

• Define the long-term vision and strategy for the company's AI Platform
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for AI platform services, developer tools, and internal infrastructure
• Build scalable AI-native platforms supporting enterprise-wide product development
• Partner with AI Engineering, Data Science, and Infrastructure teams to deliver modular AI services and APIs
• Drive technical discussions around AI architecture, model evaluation, system design, and platform scalability
• Develop AI governance, evaluation frameworks, observability, safety, and quality measurement systems
• Build AI-powered compliance automation and operational workflows
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Design, and Go-to-Market teams to define platform strategy
• Define success metrics around developer productivity, AI adoption, operational efficiency, and platform reliability
• Leverage AI-powered product development workflows and modern AI technologies
• Mentor product managers while driving cross-functional alignment across large technical organizations
• Own AI platform initiatives from strategic vision through enterprise-wide deployment

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical product management experience
• Experience building AI platforms, developer platforms, or enterprise infrastructure products
• Experience leading complex cross-functional product initiatives from strategy through execution
• Experience working in FinTech, blockchain, payments, infrastructure, or enterprise software companies
• Experience owning platform products used by internal developers or enterprise customers
• Experience working closely with engineering teams on highly technical products
• Demonstrated ownership of large-scale platform initiatives
• Strong product strategy and platform thinking

Requirements

• Strong technical understanding of AI platforms, LLMs, APIs, and distributed systems
• Experience building internal developer platforms or enterprise infrastructure
• Experience working with AI/ML systems and platform architecture
• Experience defining platform APIs, developer tools, and shared services
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, observability, and platform reliability
• Experience partnering with AI Engineering and Infrastructure teams
• Strong analytical and data-driven product decision making
• Experience with enterprise compliance, governance, and AI safety frameworks preferred
• Strong product roadmap development and prioritization skills
• Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to executive stakeholders

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related technical field required
• MBA or advanced technical degree preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $200,000 – $260,000
