Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse operates under the guidance of the Nurse Director/Manager, ensuring the safe delivery of patient care for a diverse range of patients.
• The RN evaluates the needs of patients and their families, sets and prioritizes patient objectives, assesses care delivery, and continuously updates the care plan to address the biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs of patients and their families.
• The RN delegates care responsibilities as appropriate to enhance patient outcomes.
• The RN complies with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate Degree in a relevant field.
• Active Kansas RN license.
• BLS certification must be acquired within 14 days of starting or transferring into the position, prior to delivering direct patient care.
• Current ACLS certification upon hire.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• A minimum of one year of recent experience in a comparable healthcare environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
