Aloha~The major function of this position is:The position will provide financial analysis and support to the business in multiple ways with a dedicated focus on profitability analysis. The role will require a deep understanding of all components of net sales, product costs and marginality impacting overall profitability in order to organize, communicate and present timely, accurate and actionable financial reporting to the Finance team and key leaders across the Company. Salary Range: $78,000 - $85,0001st Shift: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM *Ability to work remote 1 day a week.The principal responsibilities and duties of this position are:Design and develop tools, processes, analysis and reporting to provide insights into key drivers behind margin results.Analyze and review selling prices and gross-to-net components, including discounts, rebates, incentives and returns.Analyze and review product costs, including finished goods, component parts, packaging, as well as any foreign exchange purchase impacts.Assist in the sales budget and forecast processes, including analyzing and reporting results to key individuals of the management team.Assist the team in cost and margin budgeting and forecasting.Serve as a financial resource in reviewing and analyzing forecast and budget variances.Provide timely and accurate standard monthly and quarterly financial reports.Ensure proper accounting and reporting of revenue related transactions.Build recurring and ad-hoc reports from the ground up to help measure and analyze business performance.Assist in development of new and innovative ways to provide useful, accurate and timely financial information.Support Finance team with various reconciliations and data requests.Complete other special projects and work at the request of management or other personnel.Desired Qualifications:As a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3-4 years of relevant experienceAdvanced skills in Microsoft ExcelFundamental skill set in Microsoft AccessExperience with SAP ERP, SAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation), and Oracle HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) is a plus.Listed below are the skills preferred for this position:Solid accounting knowledgeAbility to analyze financial dataStrong verbal and written communication skillsQuick to adapt and manage prioritiesAttention to detailAbility to efficiently process multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines concurrentlyProblem solving skillsTeam player able to focus on team needs firstSpecial Physical Requirements:Ability to communicate in a variety of business settingsAbility to utilize a PCWork Shift:1st Shift (United States of America)Special Language Requirement (If Applicable):Salary is only one component of total compensation at Maui Jim!
