Automotive Technician Jeep Chrysler Dodge

Location: Empire Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, West Islip, NY Overview We are seeking skilled automotive technicians of all experience levels to join our team at Empire Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in West Islip. Daily Work Schedule Performs work specified in the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership. Test‑drives vehicles and tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed and provides an estimate of time needed for additional repairs. Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. Ideal Candidates Will Have Experience working at an automotive dealership Graduation from an accredited technical school ASE certifications—especially within the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram family (preferred) Strong familiarity with the service drive and dealership operations Mechanical aptitude and effective troubleshooting skills Steady hand and strong hand‑eye coordination Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Positive, team‑oriented attitude and a fast‑paced mindset Basic computer proficiency and comfort with diagnostic technology Commitment to learning new repair procedures and evolving vehicle technologies Ability to collaborate, adapt, and grow within a supportive service environment High school diploma or equivalent Experience levels vary by position—we’re hiring across multiple roles and technician grades.
