Position Summary Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Tours stores, provides feedback, and collaborates with all levels of staff regarding store operations, technology, merchandising, and business initiatives. Introduces and leads change efforts, sets clear expectations, and communicates business objectives to the teams. Models exceptional customer service standards, manages store community outreach programs, resolves customer complaints, and leads process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Drive financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Ensure effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes while mitigating shrink to achieve sales and profit goals. Supervise and develop hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and recognizing performance. Foster a culture of belonging by promoting diversity, inclusivity, and belonging mindset in the workplace. Maintain compliance with company policies, the Open Door Policy, and ethical standards. Build high‑performing teams, collaborate across departments, and meet customer and business needs. Act with integrity, support Walmart’s regenerative goals, and contribute to community welfare. Serve customers and members first, applying policies such as EDLP and EDLC and making data‑driven decisions. Minimum Qualifications 2 years of college education OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience Completion of required job‑required trainings and assessments. For locations selling firearms: successful completion of a firearms‑specific CBC and Firearms Authorized Training. For locations selling ammunition: current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility if required. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through a recognized program. General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing. Benefits Competitive pay and performance‑based bonuses.
