About the Role:  

Quality Auto Glass in South Plainfield, NJ is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused CSR Service Advisor to join our tight-knit and growing team! In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them navigate auto glass replacement services, ADAS Recalibrations, and every adjacent offering with confidence and ease.

Position Overview

We are looking for an exceptional, multi-talented Customer Service Representative / Service Advisor to become the operational backbone of our office.

This is not a routine, transactional desk job. This is not an easy slow-moving day. This is not a punch-in/punch-out watch-the-clock type job. It is a highly specialized, niche role that requires you to wear many hats simultaneously. You will serve as the primary bridge between our customers, insurance providers, and technicians. Success in this position demands a sharp intellect, acute attention to detail, top-tier problem-solving skills, and the ability to juggle multiple moving parts without missing a beat. 

Responsibilities:  

• Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email with auto glass service inquiries
• Schedule and coordinate repair and replacement appointments efficiently
• Process insurance claims and work directly with insurance companies on behalf of customers
• Provide accurate estimates and explain service options, pricing, and timelines
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and confirm upcoming appointments
• Maintain accurate customer records and service documentation in the system
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure smooth workflow and timely service delivery
• Dispatch service technicians and establish daily routes
• Manage inventory

Requirements:

• Prior customer service or service advisor experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy shop environment
• Experience working with insurance claims or auto glass industry is a plus
• Proficient in basic computer skills and scheduling software
• Friendly, professional, and solution-oriented attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent required
