  • Utilize clinical assessment tools, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), to evaluate patients and develop individualized care plans that encompass their unique cultural and personal needs.

  • Monitor patient progress effectively through continuous assessment, delivering evidence-based interventions tailored to support their mental health diagnoses.

  • Maintain precise and timely treatment records, ensuring all clinical documentation meets regulatory standards and reflects current best practices within the department.

  • Collaborate closely with patients and their families in creating comprehensive treatment plans aimed at achieving agreed-upon goals, while focusing on safety and symptom management.

  • Coordinate referral options, serving as a critical link between patients and various treatment providers to streamline access to care.

  • Provide mentorship and educational support to interns, students, and volunteers, fostering a collaborative learning environment that enriches the team's expertise.

This position is focused on providing outpatient therapy to individuals and families impacted by cancer diagnoses.
