Registered Nurse - Neonatal ICU

Location: Reno, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3x12, Days

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neonatal ICU is accountable for providing optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for neonates and their families. The RN will demonstrate a strong understanding of the specific needs of the neonatal population and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for neonates.
• Coordinate care among healthcare professionals.
• Maintain evidence-based practices and meet quality standards specific to neonatal care.
• Provide education and support to families and caregivers.
• Work closely with ventilated patients and perform necessary interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 3 years of exclusive NICU experience in a level 3 NICU or higher.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada (or ability to obtain prior to hire).
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP.
• Ventilator training is required.
