Job Description - Registered Nurse-Nursing Float Pool (7416-4496) Job Description Registered Nurse-Nursing Float Pool - 7416-4496 Memorial Medical Center of Las Cruces Description The RN provides compassionatecare demonstrating the five basic caring processes in all interactions withpatients and their families. The RNencourages and recognizes colleagues who exemplify the vision and principles ofRelationship Based Care. As MMC team members, we hold each other and ourselvesaccountable to our Standards of Excellence in everything we do. The RN assumes responsibilityand accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frameproviding care to his/her assigned patients utilizing the nursing process,taking a leadership role in prioritizing and coordinating care with otherhealth care team members. The RN provides service to patients throughout thelife span including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric agegroups. Qualifications Minimum Education: Graduateof a School of Nursing program. Minimum Experience: Experience in an acute care facilitypreferred. Certification/Licensure: CurrentNew Mexico or compact RN required. CPR, ACLS, PALS certification required. For New Hires Required certification must be obtained within (1) year of employment. If currently certified,must maintain current certification. ACLS is required for all areas where moderatesedation is performed.
