Outpatient Psychiatrist opening in NW Indiana - easy commute to Chicago!

Job Description

Seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to join a well-established and growing behavioral health team in northwest Indiana.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time outpatient psychiatry role providing comprehensive psychiatric care to adult patients in an outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) setting
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary mental health team including therapists and advanced practice providers
• Treat a diverse range of behavioral and emotional conditions with evidence-based practices in a structured outpatient environment
• Opportunity to shape and grow mental health services with a focus on continuity of care and patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree with completion of Psychiatry residency
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Psychiatry
• Active medical license in Indiana (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communicator with a collaborative, patient-centered approach
