University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Department: Linda Crnic Institute for Down Syndrome Job Title: Clinical Coordinator Position #00852084 - Requisition #40822 Schedule: Full-time Job Summary Clinical Coordinators perform clinical research related functions which includes research conducted with human subjects. This participant-oriented research includes mechanisms of human disease, therapeutic interventions, clinical trials, or development of new technologies. Clinical Coordinators may also assist with epidemiologic and behavioral studies and/or outcomes research and health services research. Key Responsibilities Perform day-to-day operations of clinical trials and studies Obtain medical history from consented participants, including follow-up for off-site medical records and completion of a participant health survey. Must be able to reliably transcribe orally reported medical history as written notes. Obtain informed consent and/or assent from study participants and ensure that the process is properly documented, and that informed consent form documents are filed as required. Schedule subject participation in research clinical trials and coordinate the availability of necessary space and clinical research support (e.g., physician, nurse practitioner, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy). Adhere to research regulatory standards. Collect code, and summarize information obtained from research in an accurate and timely manner Master study materials, including but not limited to protocols, informed consent forms, and all other essential study documents for assigned studies Work Location Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 4 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Entry Level Professional A bachelor's degree in public health, public administration, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, nursing, healthcare, finance, accounting, business administration, business, or a directly related field from an accredited institution A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis. Intermediate Level Professional A bachelor's degree in public health, public administration, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, nursing, healthcare, finance, accounting, business administration, business, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis. Anticipated Pay Range The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as: Entry Level: $49,899 - $63,472 Intermediate Level: $54,302 - $69,072 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
