Job Title: General Production Worker

Hiring for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions

$20.66 or $21.66

Join a dynamic team in the automotive industry where you will be involved in the production of oil seals and gaskets. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hands-on environment, operating various machinery and participating in general labor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate press machines and other machinery efficiently.
• Sort and kit materials as required.
• Engage in general labor work including assembly and inspection.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to learn and execute tasks effectively.

Essential Skills

• Experience with production and assembly tasks.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and operate forklifts.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Familiarity with machinery setup and operation, including stamping and press machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with mold press machines is advantageous.
• Knowledge of using tape measures accurately.
• Flexibility to work the third shift from Monday to Friday, 10:45 PM - 7:00 AM.

Work Environment

The work environment includes non-climate controlled and dusty conditions, requiring steel-toed footwear. Jeans and plain t-shirts are acceptable attire, with the exclusion of leggings. The position is based in a facility that operates three major departments: gaskets, oil seals, and PTFE.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Athens, AL.

The pay range for this position is $19.96 - $20.96/hr.
