BRAUN MEDICAL (US) INC Job Posting Location: Center Valley, Pennsylvania, United States Functional Area: Clinical/medical area Working Model: Hybrid Days of Work: Wednesday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Monday Shift: 5X8 Relocation Available: No Requisition ID: 8829 Position Summary The Senior Medical Affairs Specialist is responsible for delivering scientifically accurate information on BBMI products to customers and internal stakeholders. The role includes documenting Product Incident Reports (PIRs), providing clinical expertise during product development and risk evaluations, supporting training and education initiatives, and contributing to Medical Affairs strategy. This position plays a key role in understanding and communicating technical and clinical issues related to BBMI products, ultimately supporting customer satisfaction and internal decision‑making. Provide clinical input and assistance to PQE during product incident report (PIR) intake and documentation per SOP. Document product incident reports (PIR) involving patient injury based on SOP. Record relevant information concerning product complaints and communicate to PQE and other departments as appropriate. Provide appropriate and accurate verbal and/or written communication to inquiring customers and internal B. Braun Medical associates regarding our products. Develop Clinical Knowledge Letters supported by accurate data in response to customer inquiries. Provide current product cross‑reference information to internal B. Braun Medical associates and external customers. Develop and conduct scientific presentations to customers when applicable. Become a member of key Product Development teams providing clinical input and developing the Medical Affairs strategy for the project. Provide input to the marketing team(s) assigned, helping with strategy development and execution. Expertise: Knowledge & Skills Requires advanced knowledge of professional field and industry. Influences the development of and drives the application of principles, theories, concepts. Determines best course of action. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals. May periodically assist in orienting, training, and/or reviewing the work of peers. Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience. Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors. Required 5–7 years of hospital pharmacy experience. Ability to travel occasionally for business needs. On‑call availability as required. Compensation: $105k-$130k annually #IND123 It is an essential function of this position for an employee to be present and in‑person at the physical site(s) of our customers and potential customers. Many of our customers and potential customers are in clinical settings, including, but not limited to, hospitals, clinics, and other health care clinics (hereinafter, "Healthcare Customers"). Many of our "Healthcare Customers" require outside vendors like us to present proof that they have certain requisite vaccinations and immunizations, including, but not limited to, vaccinations against COVID-19 and seasonal influenza, before being granted entry into the "Healthcare Customers"’ clinical settings. To gain access to our" Healthcare Customers" clinical settings, field sales, field service, and other customer facing professionals are required to register with the vendor credentialing organization associated with the "Healthcare Customers", complete the "Healthcare Customers"’ required process, and undergo a series of clearances. Vendor credentialing clearances include, but are not limited to, a national criminal background check, drug screening, and immunizations as determined by the vendors, which may include, but are not limited to, Influenza, Hepatitis B Virus, and COVID-19. You must fully comply with the requirements of the "Healthcare Customers" in your region, including any necessary proof of any vaccination. As such, all individuals in this position assigned to a Healthcare Customer requiring COVID-19, Influenza, Hepatitis B Virus, or other vaccination requirement must be fully vaccinated and/or immunized in accordance with the "Healthcare Customers"’ requirements.
