Senior Payroll Administrator

Key Responsibilitie s: Process multi-state payroll accurately and in compliance with federal and state regulations Ensure adherence to California wage and hour laws, including overtime, meal/rest breaks, and final pay requirements Maintain and update payroll data in HRIS systems such as Paylocity, ADP Workforce Now, UKG, or Workday Audit payroll data, earnings, deductions, and timekeeping records for accuracy Utilize advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables) to analyze and reconcile payroll data Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and timekeeping with professionalism Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and payroll information Support payroll reporting, audits, and compliance initiatives Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes Required Qualifications: Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing Hands‑on experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS platforms (ADP Workforce Now, UKG, or Workday Strong knowledge of California wage and hour laws Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience working in high-volume or complex payroll environments Bilingual in English and Spanish Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations Fully on‑site role in Vernon, CA Fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment Compensation: $75K to 85K Benefit offerings: include medical, dental, vision, additional voluntary benefits, 401K plan.
