Activity Assistant - Part Time Year-Round

Job Description
- An Activity Assistant is responsible for conducting activities that engage the residents and enhance their quality of life.
- An Activity Assistant must document attendance and participation of residents at the various activities.
- An Activity Assistant may also be required to plan engaging activities with the residents.
- Monday - Friday 3:30-8:00 (some, not every)
- Saturday and Sunday 3:00-6:00 (some, not every)
- Must be enthusiastic and able to interact well with the elderly.
- Must be a strong team player and have a good work ethic.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with residents, families or residents, volunteers, employees and community members.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must possess physical stamina required for standing long periods of time (a minimum of four hours), stooping and lifting ability of at least 50 lbs.
