Hours: M-F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

As a Billing Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing self-pay claims related to patient payments, copays, and deductibles. Your role will include verifying information such as statements and addresses, mailing out statements and notices, processing financial assistance applications, and taking credit card payments. Accuracy and attention to detail are key as you post payments and update systems appropriately.

What You'll Do
As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Handling self-pay claims regarding patient payments, copays, and deductibles
• Verifying patient and insurance information for accuracy
• Mailing out statements, notices, and other legal documents as required
• Processing financial assistance applications and managing eligibility documentation
• Receiving and posting credit card and self-pay payments with precision

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• At least 2 years of medical billing experience
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to professionally manage difficult conversations
• Ability to read and understand Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements thoroughly
• High school diploma required; associate degree or equivalent preferred
• Pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical, and immunization review
