Job-ID29038070Reference26-22287Remote50% Remote Description: Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, data models, and Microsoft Fabric solutions to support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reporting, data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and analytics platforms. Configure and support Power BI and Fabric environments following governance and best practices. Collaborate with business and technical teams to design, develop, test, and deploy analytics solutions using Power BI, Fabric, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Data Factory. Implement enhancements, break-fixes, and performance improvements while adhering to established development and testing standards. Major Responsibilities Analyzes, develops and implements data conversion strategies that satisfy application solution design requirements that could include, but not limited to: implementation of multi-dimensional models including data views, dimensions and cubes; implementation of reporting applications including dashboards, reporting cubes and static reports; and implementation of required interfaces for the data warehouse, Enable use of AI and Copilot in Power BI Implements row level security on data and have an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI Responsible for design methodology and project document Designs and develops Power BI datasets, Get Dataset CoPilot Ready , dashboards, and reports including multiple visual reports, integrated dashboards and KPI scorecards Translates data into informative visual reports Develops, publishes and schedules Power BI reports as per the business requirements Perform calculated measures on the existing data set Writes queries, views, procedures using SQL server database Position Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or the equivalent work experience and technical training Must have at least two years of experience in designing and developing Power BI datasets, dashboards, and reports Experience in administration of Power BI report repository Experienced in effectively interacting and communicating with the team Experience supporting BI applications with extensive knowledge required Must have knowledge in developing multiple visual reports, integrated dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI Must have good analytical thinking to translate data into informative visual reports Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements Should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis Expertise in using calculated measures on the existing data set Must have knowledge in connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence, Prepring Dataset for CoPilot and AI Should be familiar with SQL server query tuning and table partitioning Should have knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure Integration knowledge between ETL, BI server is highly preferred Any kind of scripting knowledge is preferred Can consolidate requirements and translate them into BI deliverables Strong oral and written communication skills Proven ability to collaborate across multiple technology teams Technical proficiency in the following: Designing BI reports, Dashboards, Dimension modeling, Cube designing, Facts, Measures, SCDs, Sql queries including stored procedures, functions, views, and database triggers Knowledge of project management methodology and proven experience handling multiple deliverables Ability to connect and interact from Power BI server to Microsoft azure components Knowledge on security implementation or multi tenancy in BI server Knowledge on several data integration operation using multiple ETL tools EEO: “Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans.”
