Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Pediatrics PACU position in Winston-Salem, NC. This travel role specializes in post-anesthetic care for pediatric patients, primarily handling inpatient and outpatient cases across most surgical specialties, excluding cardiac. The unit is equipped with an open bay concept and operates under a collaborative "all hands on deck" work environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Pediatrics PACU

• Manage post-operative care for pediatric patients, ages 0 to 17
• Oversee telemetry monitoring
• Administer medications, including gtts such as heparin and insulin
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in caring for vented and BiPAP patients when necessary

Requirements of the RN - Pediatrics PACU

• Active RN license
• BLS, PALS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in critical care pediatrics (2 years preferred)
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
• Must have completed at least one travel assignment
