Schedule: On-call coverage only. No clinic responsibilities. 24-hour call shifts covering two medical facilities. Multiple shift blocks available: September 14-28, November 6-9, and December 14-28.

• Locum tenens on-call coverage at two hospital facilities in Iowa
• Inpatient and call coverage only – no outpatient clinic duties required
• Average daily hospital census of 10-20 patients across both locations
• Epic Enterprise EMR system in use
• Full medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy support available
• Collaborative environment with 4 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers on staff
• Full range of orthopedic cases including trauma, spine, joint reconstruction, and extremity procedures

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery (required)
• Active Iowa medical license or active IMLC (required)
• Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Surgery (required)
• Experienced orthopedic surgeon with demonstrated competency
• Clean malpractice and background history (required)
• Current Self-Query NPDB Report (within 30 days) at time of application
• Availability to cover specified shift blocks in September, November, and December
• Willingness to take call from facility contacts as needed
