Position Overview Seeking BE/BC Emergency Medicine physician or a Family/Internal Medicine physician with Emergency Medicine experience. Key Details Live in close proximity to the Tidewater, Virginia area. 15-bed Emergency Department. Provider team includes 4 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers. 24-hour hospitalist and radiology coverage. Telestroke support. Twelve 12-hour shifts per month. Strong air and ground support for immediate patient transfer. Full scope of services provided at hospital including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, Oncology, Behavioral Health, Neurology, Cardiology, Pain Management, Endocrinology, and Urology. Comprehensive benefit package: annual stipend, relocation assistance, vacation, sick & holidays, malpractice (with tail), 401k/457b, medical, dental & vision, life insurance.
