PRN/On-Call Registered Nurse

Goodwin Home Health is currently seeking a PRN/On-Call Registered Nurses to work daytime hours. We offer work-life balance, along with outstanding pay and benefits. In your role as RN, you will develop and safely deliver high-quality skilled Home Health nursing services to seniors living in their homes. Goodwin House Home Health provides skilled care throughout Northern Virginia, focusing on the counties of: Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Prince William and Loudoun.

Job Duties

• Performs/completes OASIS documentation.
• Performs a detailed assessment resulting in the development of a patient specific Plan of Care. Client clinical record documentation is done per agency policy.
• Provides direct nursing care in a Home Health setting under the guidelines of a physician's order.
• Communicates with other team members regarding the Plan of Care and works closely with team members for optimal outcomes.
• Effectively communicates with referring physicians and provides accurate treatment notes and other necessary documentation in a timely manner, per policy.
• Prepares for patient discharge planning as soon as possible along with informing and preparing the patient, team members and physician.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed by the state board of nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• At least one-year acute care experience, Home Health preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Possess a driver's license, proof of automobile insurance and readily available, reliable transportation.
