Seasonal Transit Station Assistant - Minnesota State Fair & Renaissance Festival
Schmitty & Sons is hiring friendly, reliable individuals aged 18 and older to assist at our transit stations during two of Minnesota's most iconic events:
Minnesota State Fair (12 days in late Augustearly September)
Minnesota Renaissance Festival (weekends through the end of September)
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the excitement while helping our community travel safely and smoothly.
What You'll Do:
Greet and assist passengers at transit stations in Eagan, Burnsville, Shakopee, and St. Paul
Provide information about bus fares and schedules
Help customers navigate purchasing bus tickets
Offer hands-on support with folding strollers as passengers board
Ensure a smooth, welcoming, and efficient boarding experience
What We're Looking For:
Must be 18 years or older
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and assist passengers as needed
A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Availability for morning or evening shifts (78 hours/day) during scheduled event days
