There's a seat at our table for you...Position Summary:The Associate Security Analyst will monitor Gordon Food Service's Information Systems environment for cyber-security related events, anomalies, and malicious activities. They will triage, respond, and escalate appropriately as needed. They will also lead in process improvement and implementation of cyber-security and forensics solutions.What you will do:Monitor the cyber-security environmentRespond to cyber-security alerts & eventsEvaluate risk of cyber-security eventsTriage cyber-security alerts & events then escalate as neededBuild rule sets for cyber-security incident and event monitoring solutionMonitor cyber-security intelligence feeds for indicators of compromiseParticipation in incident responseExperience in other related information technology domainsOther duties and responsibilities as assigned.When you will work:Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pmHybrid schedule, 4 days in office, with 1 day remoteWhat you'll bring to the table:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field preferred.Security+, Network+, GIAC or CEH certifications preferred.One to three years previous related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills.Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment.Must have good customer service and time management skills.Ability to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems, and reference established precedents and policies.Knowledge of investigative theory practicesKnowledge of cyber-security system design tools, methods, and techniquesBE PART OF AN AMAZING CULTURE WHERE WHAT MATTERS TO YOU, MATTERS TO US!Gordon Food Service values our customers and understands that their success is largely dependent upon their workforce.
