Registered Nurse Staffing Pool

CarePartners is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse for our Staffing Pool to support our network of partnered healthcare providers and facilities across Connecticut. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered clinical care while floating between various units and care settings based on staffing needs and patient acuity. Working within our collaborative, community-focused culture, you will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, and provide ongoing patient and family education to promote understanding of conditions, treatments, and care transitions. You will document care accurately in the electronic health record, coordinate with interdisciplinary team members, and escalate changes in patient status promptly to ensure timely, safe interventions. As part of the staffing pool, you will be expected to quickly adapt to different workflows, unit routines, and clinical specialties, supporting both short-term coverage needs and longer-term assignments as required. You will partner closely with CarePartners’ provider network, contributing to improved, coordinated care, reduced readmissions, and a positive patient experience across diverse clinical environments. The ideal candidate is a flexible, detail-oriented RN who demonstrates strong clinical judgment, calm decision-making under pressure, and excellent communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and fellow nurses.
